I watched Aladdin on DVD today and was reminded at how totally cool it was. I was peeling and coring apples in preparation for drying them so I wasn't actually "watching" it but just listening to it, and I was amazed at how much I still remembered. Oh, it was lovely.
Great fun.
This is a poster that I did for an Aladdinverse fanfic I wrote of the same title, The Song of Cacophona, featuring Aladding, Jasmine, Mozenrath and an original character, Cantera (the blonde at the top). Actually, it's a sort of crossover with TaleSpin...In a weird sort of way...
ooo I like the way you drew the characters!! Mozenrath especially looks cool!! Man, I want the Aladdin dvd... *bangs head on things* This is gorgeous! Great job!!
Ooooh, I love this fic. :: Glomps :: It's one of the few that's stuck with my all these years. Between Cacophona and the Pairakas, I had no worry that Mozey-darling's been tortured well these many years.

Heh heh... yeah. I borrowed the city of Tinnabula from a two-part TaleSpin story. Damn, I can't remember the title of the episodes, but it had Baloo and Louie in one of the "road" shows that they did occasionally. It seemed a very appropriate for the Aladdinverse, so I borrowed it. Heh heh heh...
It was fun to write. This one and the previous one featuring Cantera... Gone with the Wind. Mozenrath needs to learn a few things about picking girlfriends.
Heh heh heh... TSoC was lots of fun to write. So much evil to do to ol' Mozey boy... Having the Sultan sentence him to death was SO much fun... Then having Cantera show up wanting his head was just that much more fun. Nothing like having a god out for your blood to make your day go from bad to worse. And I finally got to have Genie do a Lobo impressioin, something I always wanted to do. Whee!
Thanks again! And the DVD is great. I like that they've been adding in new stuff to the recent films they've been releasing (like The Lion King), but then again I'm really glad that they left Aladdin alone. It's great just the way it is.
